TYPES OF MEMBERSHIPS
Types of Memberships
Fellow Member
Fellow of the Actuarial Society of Kenya (FeASK)
- •Must be a fellow of a professional actuarial body approved by the Council.
- •Requires at least one year of continuous post-fellowship experience in Kenya.
Associate Member
Associate of the Actuarial Society of Kenya (AASK)
- •Must be an associate of a professional actuarial body approved by the Council.
Standard Member
- •Holds a bachelor's degree or postgraduate qualification in actuarial science or a related field.
- •Alternatively, must be pursuing professional actuarial examinations administered by a recognized body.
Affiliate Member
- •Open to non-citizens or those not ordinarily resident in Kenya.
- •Must intend to practice in Kenya for a specific actuarial assignment.
- •Must have recognized actuarial qualifications or meet eligibility for Fellow/Associate membership.
Honorary Fellow
Honorary recognition only
- •Awarded to individuals who have rendered special services to the Society or the actuarial profession.
- •Not considered formal members of the Society.
Student Member
Student Member of The Actuarial Society of Kenya (STASK)
- •Open to individuals enrolled in actuarial science or related programs at recognized institutions.
- •Must provide proof of enrollment and academic standing.
